About the project
FOUNDATION FOR SPECIAL PEOPLE
As a provider of services for developmentally disabled adults, FFSP required a special approach. The key was to maintain a level of respect at all times in etiquette, language, and tone while inviting people to learn more about the available programs. To ensure the best outcome, our team had to give both aspects equal weight without compromising the integrity of the nonprofit, website design, or user experience. Our Envisager Studio team was successful in establishing a digital space that was both respectful and informative.
Logo + branding
In addition to being just one aspect of a nonprofit’s brand, logos should be designed to be easily understood. In short, logos are more than just pretty colors. This transformative logo design brought new life to an established organization as well as adorning one of the best nonprofit website designs. Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities vary widely in their needs, abilities, and levels of support required. This logo clearly represents that which is denoted by the two different sized people. And the stars represent the fact that every person is a star in what they do. To encourage new participants to join FFSP’s programs, the Envisager Studio sought to build one of the best nonprofit websites. One that speaks to the participants, their parents, and potential sponsors. The rich burgundy and gold colors, coupled with soft blue adds a level of sophistication and crispness to the overall design. We used Roboto Slab medium weight font for page titles as its boldness lends to the stability of the layouts.
In addition to selecting the appropriate typography, our team meticulously used the brands colors throughout to make this one of the best nonprofit website designs online. So that the website ranks well in search results, relevant keywords were used to add the necessary SEO component.
